Heat That Does Not Bankrupt You

An insulated shell with a continuous vapor barrier is what makes a heated shop affordable to run. We insulate walls and ceiling properly and detail the vapor barrier so condensation never becomes a problem.

Power Where You Need It

We lay out circuits around your equipment: 240 volt drops for welders and compressors, dedicated circuits for dust collection, and outlets at bench height where you will actually use them.

A Slab Built for Point Loads

Reinforced concrete over compacted base, with thickened sections under lifts or heavy machinery if your plans call for them, and a finish that cleans up easily.

Common Questions About Building a House With Premier Buildings

  • What ceiling height do I need for a vehicle lift?

    Most two post lifts want at least 12 feet of clear height, and 14 to 16 foot sidewalls give comfortable margin. Tell us what lift you are considering and we will set wall height around it.

  • Can you add a bathroom or office to my shop?

    Yes. Bathrooms, finished office corners, and mezzanine storage are common additions, and they are far cheaper to include during construction than to retrofit.

  • How do I keep a shop affordable to heat?

    Insulation and air sealing matter more than the furnace. With a properly insulated shell and vapor barrier, most of our clients heat shops with a single unit heater or in floor heat at reasonable cost.

  • Concrete now or later?

    Now. Pouring the slab during construction is cleaner, cheaper, and lets us thicken sections under future equipment. We will only suggest deferring it if your budget truly requires it.

  • Can the shop match my house or other buildings?

    Yes. Siding colors, roof pitch, and trim can be matched to existing structures so the property looks planned rather than collected.
